CELIA - Eclipse3

Eclipse 3 is dedicated to ultrashort-pulses high-intensity laser experiments on solids .X-rays  A XANES endstation is available for warm-densemateer studies

Three independant compressors: 3 synchronous beams are available

 - 1 main beam with vacuum compressor

- 2 synchronous secondary beams with independant air compressors

  • 2 "probe" beams with air compressor

Maximum energy = 10 mJ, Minimum pulse duration=50 fs, focusing by lens

Experimental chamber  (SOPHIA)

  • Inner Diameter : 1 m

  • Motorized target holder : 100 x 50 mm² of useful aperture

  • Laser-Target active feedback
