SESAME
BM08-XAFS/XRF

The XAFS/XRF beamline came into operation in July 2018, thus making it SESAME’s first to come on stream. It is installed on a bending magnet source (BM08) and its design was adapted to cover a wide energy range: 4.7 - 30 keV. XAFS data can be collected in both transmission or fluorescence mode which allows the beamline to meet the needs of a large number of users in different research fields.
