The DUBBLE project operates two beam lines. Mainly for researchers in the remit of the Dutch and Flemish research councils but 33% of the beam time is available for general ESRF users. The main techniques are X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (BM14) and SAXS/WAXS (BM26)
The BM14 beamline is specialised in X-ray spectroscopy in the energy range 5-40 keV. This is the new X-ray absorption spectroscopy beamline of DUBBLE post ESRF-EBS upgrade and has not been commissioned yet. Please note that at BM14 there is no gas rig system.
A brand new 18 element Ge fluorescence detector has been ordered and there is a Si SDD detector available as well for fluorescence measurements. Ionization chambers are available for transmission measurements.
