The CLIO free electron laser ( Orsay, France)
2-colors pump-probe experiments

Clio is equipped with a double independent ondulator. This characteristic allows to produce two independent pulses at two different wavelength and synchronized at the pico second in the same macro pulse. The wavelength difference is a factor 2. This unique feature allows pump-probe and photon echo experiments.
