The BL09 (MISTRAL) beamline consists on a full field Transmission Soft X-ray Microscope (TXM) with capabilities for cryo- tomography of cells in the water window energy range, spectroscopy and magnetic imaging. The energy range spans from 300 eV to 1.2 keV. Two Zone Plate lenses are available, a 40nm lens and a 25 nm lens both made of Ni. A fluorescence visible light microscope on line with the TXM allows for correlative microscopy.
